Try a gentle, guided ice-fishing trip on the frozen Bothnian Bay with Iisland. Our expert guide will teach you different ice-fishing techniques — you might catch perch, roach or even whitefish. Enjoy the beautiful winter sea scenery, and warm up in a cozy tent where we can light a fire and even cook together. We travel to fishing spots by sleigh and snowmobile; reindeer-skin benches keep you warm, and if you’re lucky, you may spot a white-tailed eagle circling overhead.

Dress very warmly — layered clothes, windproof outerwear, and good socks are essential. Sunglasses are recommended for bright, clear days.
Departure point in Ii is either at Pauhu in Northern Ii on Partalahdentie, where there is a car park, or at the marina in Ii Alaranta, where there is also a car park. Iisland cottage customers will be picked up from the cottage yard.
Difficulty: light, but conditions can be very cold in places.
Cancellation and payment conditions. Cancellation 14 days before departure free of charge. 7-13 days before cancellation, the reservation fee will be retained. Cancellation later than this date will incur the full charge.
